Exploratory Bitcoin transaction web app, using the Toshi API
Tosh.1 allows users to input a particular Bitcoin address and view a chain of transactions associated with it. The modern version of writing your phone number on a dollar bill to track it, this web app provides an intuitive visual interface using the graphical API of d3 to understand where Bitcoins are coming and going.
Future improvements to Tosh.1 will include the capability to search backwards as well as forwards (that is, finding where your Bitcoins came from), and dynamically sizing the graph nodes with respect to transaction amount or number. Finally, we will eventually include general graph capabilities (as opposed to just trees), allowing for self-loops and directed interaction.
